Catie Canale Pflaumer is a professional harpist in the New England area. Currently based in southern Massachusetts, she recently completed her Master of Music degree from the Chicago College of Performing Arts under Sarah Bullen, principal harpist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Prior to Chicago, Catie graduated with her Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY under Kathleen Bride.
One of Catie's greatest passions is playing orchestrally. She has performed with many ensembles across the country, including the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra of the Southern Fingerlakes, the Cordancia Ensemble, Cambridge Symphony Orchestra (MA), and North Shore Philharmonic Orchestra.
In addition to playing, Catie also arranges music for different ensembles. Some of her most popular arragements include "The Theme from Downton Abbey" for harp trio and "Define Dancing" from Disney/Pixar's Wall-E for harp trio.
